​This data visualisation project symbolises the precipitation of all states in Australia in January 2014. States including New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Capital territory. A  Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western town from each state was chosen to represent how much rain each sector of the state received in January 2014. The data displayed clarifies rainfall comparisons between each state area. The different directions are showed in the same style as a compass with North being at the top of the circle, East on the right, South at the bottom and West on the left.
